Information on this site

The pages, posts and tools on this site are general information. They are written to help you understand water damage and decide what to do next. They are not a diagnosis of your building, not insurance or legal advice and not a promise about any outcome.

The tools

The Pipe Freeze Risk Checker and the Water Damage Severity Checker are guides. They run on the answers you give and use simplified rules, and they cannot see your building. A technician on site decides the category, the class and the plan. Do not delay calling for help because a tool gave a low rating.

Prices

Price ranges on this site are general and are not quotes or offers. The price for a job is set after an on-site assessment and agreed before work starts.

Emergencies

Do not use the contact form for an emergency. Call (301) 786-0888. If anyone is in danger from electrical hazards, gas, fire or rising water, call 911 first.

Service area and availability

We serve Laurel, MD and nearby communities. Listing an area on this site does not mean we can reach every address in it at every hour. Tell us your location when you call and we will say what we can do.

Links to other sites

Some pages mention outside organizations and resources, such as government agencies and standards bodies. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
